If black was the color of the Grammys, consider WHITE to be the color of the night at last night's Academy Awards. As I said in my last awards show recap, I love a good all black outfit on the red carpet. And while black is always my go-to color of choice, all of last night's white looks are inspiring me to lighten up my wardrobe. The winter vortex also may have also been an influential factor in my shift in color palette, but I digress. Here are some of my thoughts on some of the looks from the 2015 Academy Awards.

Viola Davis gave full on couture and drama in this voluminous satin gown by Zac Posen. She completed the look with accent jewelry and a gold clutch.

Kerry Washington looked ravishing in a structured bodice dress with a flowy skirt by iu Miu. Kerry kept her makeup really light and glowy and finished her look with teardrop earrings.

Yes Ma'am! Zendaya looked lovely in a white off the shoulder Vivienne Westwood dress. Clad with a new 'do, she is definitely one to watch on the Red Carpet.
